Columbus, OH : 1 charged with OVI after 6-vehicle crash in Fairfield on Thursday, November 10th 2016

A six-vehicle crash occurred in the city of Fairfield Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m. at State Route 4 near Diversion Drive, police said.

One person had to be freed from a vehicle by the Fairfield Fire Department, police said, and flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Air Care.

Police said that person's injuries are not expected to be life-threatening. No further information was available about the others involved.

In the course of the investigation, police said they arrested 18-year-old Chaneyrah Gover and charged her with OVI and assured clear distance ahead.

The investigation of the crash is still ongoing, police said.
