North Philadelphia, PA : Five people injured when SEPTA bus collided with U-Haul truck in North Philadelphia on Thursday, May 7, 2015

At least 11 passengers suffered minor injuries Thursday morning in a pair of crashes involving SEPTA buses in North Philadelphia, the transit agency said.

In the first incident, six people aboard a Route 56 bus were slightly injured about 7:45 a.m. when the bus was cut off by a car and made a sudden stop on Erie Avenue at Broad Street, said SEPTA spokeswoman Heather Redfern. About 30 people were on the bus at the time.

At 10:15 a.m., a U-Haul truck hit the driver's side of a Route 60 bus at West Allegheny and West Glenwood avenues, said SEPTA spokesman Andrew Busch. Five passengers were hurt in that crash.
