MEMPHIS, TN : Critical crash on I-40 sends 1 person to the hospital on Saturday, November 12th 2016

A man is in critical condition after a crash on Interstate 40 at the Sycamore View Road exit just before midnight Saturday night.

Police said the victim said he was driving on I-40 slowing down for traffic when he felt a “jarring” in the back of his truck after being rear-ended.

Investigators said the victim had to be removed from his vehicle. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Officers have not said if the second driver will be charged.
