CHESAPEAKE, VA : Chesapeake crash leaves man dead police say on Wednesday, 15th May 2024

A man is dead after a crash Wednesday evening in Chesapeake, police say.

Chesapeake police say they responded to the 4600 block of Backwoods Road off of Ballahack Road around 7:20 p.m. for a report of a single vehicle crash. The man driving the vehicle was the only occupant in the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
