Logan, UT : Man dies in collision with traffic light pole on Tuesday night, October 25, 2016

One person is dead following a single vehicle crash at 1400 North and 1000 West on Tuesday night.

Logan Police say emergency personnel were dispatched to the area at about 8:25 p.m.

Officers arrived and found that the vehicle, which had been traveling southbound on 10th West, had collided with a traffic light pole on the west side of the road.

It was reported the occupant was not moving and was pinned in the car.

Paramedics and fire personnel attempted lifesaving measures as they extricated the driver, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim is not being released by police at this time, allowing officers to work on notifying next of kin.

This crash is still under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
