Motorcyclist killed in head-on crash at Devil's Slide

A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash at Devil's Slide on Highway 1 in San Mateo County shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.The person killed was driving a 2003 Harley-Davidson in the southbound lane when it struck a 2014 Subaru, said the CHP. The crash, which happened just south of the tunnel and north of Gray Whale Cove State Beach, caused all lanes of the roadway to be closed for about two hours.Both directions were reopened and a traffic alert lifted around 10:45 p.m.The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead after being taken to San Francisco General Hospital
