MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, MI : Woman killed in crash on US-31 near Muskegon on Tuesday, 18th April 2023

Authorities say a woman was killed in a single-car crash near Muskegon Tuesday morning.

The Michigan Department of Transportation said the crash on southbound US-31 after Holton Road in Muskegon Township was first reported around 4:50 a.m. Tuesday.

The Muskegon Township Police Department said the car was heading southbound and appeared to have lost control while driving on the overpass.

The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was killed in the crash, according to MTPD. Her name has not been released.
