Fullerton, CA : Two injured when ambulance crashes into storage facility on West Commonwealth Avenue in Orange County on Thursday, March 10, 2016
Two people were hurt Thursday when an ambulance crashed into a building in Fullerton, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 1:20 p.m. at a storage facility located along the 1400 block of West Commonwealth Avenue, according to Fullerton Fire Deputy Chief Julie Kunze.
The driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries, Kunze said. No patient was in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
A street sign for the United Pentecostal Church adjacent to the building also appeared to be damaged.
Just minutes after the crash, another vehicle had slammed into a vacant Tony Roma’s restaurant in a separate incident along the 1300 block of Harbor Boulevard, about two miles south of the ambulance crash. One person was transported for injuries.
