Tuscaloosa, AL : Eutaw man dies in car crash on Sunday, 4th March 2018

A 27-year-old Eutaw man died in an early Sunday morning crash in Greene County, according to state troopers.

Anthony Terrell Blount was killed when the 2008 Ford Focus he was driving left the road and struck a tree around 4:45 a.m. Blount was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on U.S. Highway 11 near the 47-mile marker in the Eutaw city limits.

Troopers said Blount was not wearing a seat belt.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the single-vehicle crash, according to troopers, but the accident is still under investigation.
