HIALEAH, FL : 6, including 3 children, sent to hospital after school bus, dump truck crash in Hialeah on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

Six people, including three children, were taken to area hospitals after a school bus and a dump truck crashed in a Hialeah neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at around 2 p.m. at East First Avenue and 60th Street.

A Hialeah Fire Department spokesperson said three people in the truck were hurt; two were ejected and one had to be pulled out of the vehicle. They were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

According to HFD, 15 children and one driver were board the bus; all suffered minor injuries and three children were taken to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
