Macon, GA : One lane opens after fiery crash on Wednesday, June 14, 2017

One lane has reopened on Interstate 75 South after all lanes were initially blocked early Wednesday after a fiery crash at about 6 a.m. in Monroe County near Forsyth.

First responders are still on the scene near Ga. 42 and South Lee Road.

Traffic backed up for miles behind the accident and authorities are urging motorists to avoid the highway.

The Georgia Department of Transportation expects some lanes to be blocked until about 10 a.m.
