Wolsey, SD : 38-year-old man killed in pickup truck collided with a semi-truck on Thursday November 27 2015
Authorities have identified a 38-year-old man killed when the pickup truck he was driving collided with a semi-truck eight miles west of Wolsey.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says TB Botha, of South Africa, was headed east on U.S. Highway 14 in a pickup truck just before 2 a.m. Thursday when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound semi-truck.
Botha, who the patrol says ways not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The semi-truck driver, 57-year-old Randy Block, of Fort Pierre, was taken to a Huron hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
