Lubbock, TX : Motorcyclist dead in fatal Lubbock crash early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017
One man is dead after a motorcycle crash turned fatal early Sunday morning.
At approximately 12:35 a.m., LPD responded to a motorcycle accident in the 300 block of Avenue Q, according to LPD spokeswoman Tiffany Pelt.
Michael Castellano, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports say the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Avenue Q when he struck the concrete median.
LPD officials say the motorcyclist had a major head injury and died on the scene.
Accident investigators were called on scene to investigate the deadly crash.
Pelt said not other vehicles were involved in the crash.
