Montgomery County, TX :21 - years old Couple killed and Good Samaritan tackles alleged drunk driver On Sunday , May 17th 2015
A Houston man is behind bars in Montgomery County, accused of driving drunk and killing two people.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes of Highway 59 near Ipes Road at about 7 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Alejandro Guzman-Lopez, 23, tried to flee the scene of the deadly wreck.
According to investigators, a witness who saw the crash, however, chased Guzman-Lopez down, tackling the man, and held him on the ground until officers arrived.
Guzman-Lopez was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of accident involving death. His total bond was set at $600,000.
Brad Frazier, 21, and his wife Shea, 21, were killed in the crash.
Family members told KPRC 2 Shea died at the scene and Brad died on the way to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
