Tyngsborough , MA : 28-year-old Lowell woman was killed and driver injured in accident after she crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle on early Saturday , December 6th 2014
A 28-year-old Lowell woman, whose name police did not release early Saturday, was killed in the Tyngsboro accident about 1 a.m. after she appeared to have crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle, according to Tyngsboro police. She was found entrapped in her 2005 Acura TL in a parking lot in the area near Tyngsboro Country Club and the Colony Heights residential development.
Tyngsboro firefighters removed the woman from the vehicle and transported her to Lowell General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year-old Dracut man whom police also did not name, sustained minor injuries. He also was brought to Lowell General.
No charges are currently pending in the accident, police said.
