One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning on Highway 99S in Junction City, according to a news release from Junction City Police.
The crash was reported shortly after 11 a.m. in the 93000 block of the highway, and officer A.J. Christensen arrived to find a Subaru Outback on its roof, heavily damaged. Christensen gave first aid to the driver, who had “immediate life-threatening injuries,” according to police. Both the driver and a passenger in the Subaru were taken to a hospital. Police withheld their names and the name of the hospital.
The second vehicle was a BMW SUV, and it had front-end damage. The driver of that vehicle was not injured and cooperated with police, they said.
