Hannock ,MI :Amber Grant, 25 seriously injured after her car flipped on Washington Junction Road Sunday morning,September 13th 2015

A Columbia Falls woman was seriously injured after her car flipped on Washington Junction Road Sunday morning.

Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Shane Campbell said Amber Grant, 25, suffered a fractured femur and pelvis. A LifeFlight helicopter took her to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Grant was in critical condition as of Monday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesman.

Campbell is still investigating the single-vehicle crash, which had no witnesses. It was reported at 5:10 a.m.

Grant was traveling westbound toward Ellsworth when her 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt crashed, Campbell said.

“She went off the road to the right, she struck the embankment and flipped maybe twice,” Campbell said. “She actually landed on all four tires, oddly enough.”

Grant was not wearing her seat belt, the deputy said. She had been on her way to work when the accident occurred.
