PHOENIX, AZ : Man dead after crash involving semi-truck in Phoenix on Saturday, 12th October 2024

A man has died after a four-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on Saturday.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near 51st Avenue and Osborn Road.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was driving when he hit the back of a car. The collision caused the victim to lose control and drive into the southbound lanes of traffic, which is when he hit the semi-truck and was pushed into a third vehicle.

When fire and police crews arrived on the scene, they found the man trapped in his car. He died on the scene from his injuries.

No information about the man’s identity has been released.
