FAIRFIELD, CT : Woman dies in Lyon Road crash on Tuesday, 20th November 2018

A female passenger in a BMW was killed and two others were injured in a crash late Tuesday afternoon where Lyon Road meets Blue Mountain Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The silver BMW was traveling north on Lyon Road at about 4:34 p.m. when its driver made what the CHP described as an unsafe turning movement. A red Kia traveling south on Lyon Road struck the passenger side of the BMW.The woman was ejected from the BMW and died at the scene of the crash, the CHP reports. The driver of the BMW had major injuries and the driver of the Kia had moderate injuries. The incident was deemed a fatality about 10 minutes after the crash was reported.
