Shelby County, AL : Jonathan Green, 32, and Tiffany Mitchell, 29, killed in car crash on Highway 25 near Columbiana on Monday, September 29, 2014

Two people were killed in a car crash in Shelby County Monday. According to the Alabama State Troopers, the wreck happened on Highway 25, one mile south of Columbiana, at 7:45 a.m. The AST reports the driver, Jonathan Green, 36, or Tuscumbia, and the passenger, Tiffany Mitchell, 29, of Gulf Shores, were killed. The pickup truck in which they were travelling left the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to the AST report. No other details were made available.
