Jefferson City,MO : One Injured in wake collision on September, Sunday 3rd 2017

A St. Louis woman experienced minor injuries in a boating accident and another boat capsized after a mechanical failure at the Lake of the Ozarks Sunday.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Molly Heitmann, 27 of St. Louis, was transported by ambulance after a boat driven by Glenn Heitmann, 56 of Baldwin, struck a large wake at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County around noon Sunday.

A police report described Molly Heitmann's injuries as moderate and she was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. There was no damage to the 2017 Regal boat.

In a separate accident Sunday, the Patrol said a 2005 Fountain Poker Run boat driven by Roger Neighbors of Shawnee, Kan., capsized after experiencing a mechanical failure around 9 a.m. Sunday. Neither Roger nor his passenger, Nancy Neighbors, was injured
