Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Hwy. 14 in Lewiston Wednesday afternoon.

Ronald Kessler, 68, of Lewiston was westbound on Hwy. 14 about 2:30 p.m. when he and an eastbound vehicle driven by Mary Buege, 20, of Winona collided near the intersection of County Road 25, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Kessleer and Buege were both transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. Buege was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Lewiston Fire, Rescue and Ambulance, St. Charles Ambulance, Lewiston Police Department and the Winona County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
