ARLINGTON, TX : A woman suffered serious injuries during a four-car crash on Sunday, January, 28th 2018

A woman who suffered serious injuries during a four-car crash on Sunday afternoon in Arlington has died from her injuries, according to Arlington Police Department spokesman Christopher Cook.

Cook said officers responded to a major crash at the intersection of W. Division Street and Oakwood Lane on Sunday around 4:44 p.m.

He said one car was traveling southbound on Oakwood Lane when it struck another car vehicle traveling the same direction near the intersection. The impact caused the first car to continue traveling through the intersection and turn left in the eastbound driection of Division Street.

Investigators believe that's when a third car struck the first car while making a turn in the intersection.
