Beckley,WV : Vehicle accident in Greenbrier County results in fatality on June, Thursday 15th 2017

A Greenbrier County woman died Thursday in a single vehicle accident near Alvon, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Hilda Rose Hilton, 75, of White Sulpher Springs was driving northbound on W.Va. 92 and ran off the of the roadway on the east side, traveling through the parking area of Whatcoat United Methodist Church.

Hilton's vehicle traveled off the roadway, impacted a tree that fell on the driver side of the vehicle.

Hilton was dead at the scene.

No other occupants were involved.
