JAMES ISLAND, SC : 1 dead after collision at Fort Johnson and Dills on Thursday, 8th February 2024
James Island, South Carolina
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office announced the intersection of Dills Bluff Road and Fort Johnson Road was closed in all directions Thursday night.
Deputies were responding to a single-vehicle collision that caused the lane closures. CCSO Spokeswoman, Alexis Douglas confirmed one person died from the collision.
Lanes reopened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday night.
