Lincoln, NE : Man died after his scooter collided with a car in Lincoln on Friday, April 15, 2016

Authorities say a man has died after his scooter collided with a car in Lincoln.

Police say the accident occurred late Thursday night on the south end of Lincoln when the eastbound scooter collided with a westbound car that was turning left. Officer Katie Flood says the man died at a hospital about 5:30 a.m. Friday. His name hasn't been released.

The accident is being investigated.
