Cincinnati, OH : Forest Park man killed in crash on I-275 near the Ohio/Indiana state line early Tuesday, Oct 27, 2015

A Forest Park man was killed in a crash that closed northbound I-275 early Tuesday.

Christopher Turner, 35, lost control of his 1997 Mercury Sable on the wet road while driving southbound on I-275 near the Ohio/Indiana state line at 6:30 a.m.

Turner's car rotated and traveled through the grassy median onto the northbound lanes, where it was struck by a 2001 Chevrolet Tracker driven by William Preston, 54, of Cincinnati, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene. Preston was not injured.

Northbound lanes were closed for 2.5 hours before the crash was cleared.
