Prue, OK : Enid woman killed after a motorcycle crash in Osage County on Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2016

An Enid woman was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle crash in Osage County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

About 12:30 p.m. Cristina E. Mendez, 29, was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle on County Road 1200, just south of Mud Creek Road near Prue, when the wreck occurred, according to the report.

The report states Mendez was driving too fast down a hill into a curve and hit a guardrail. She fell off the motorcycle behind the guardrail, and the bike zigzagged down the road before stopping.
Mendez was pronounced dead at the scene from head, leg and internal trunk injuries, according to the report. She was wearing a helmet.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the collision.
