Brockton,MA : Head-on crash in Carver leaves both drivers badly hurt on February, Saturday 10th 2018

Two women were seriously injured in a head-on collision on Tremont Street on Saturday afternoon.

Police said a 2008 Nissan Maxima being driven by a 54-year-old Wareham woman crossed the road’s center line and collided with a 2004 Lexus SUV being driven by a 65-year-old Carver woman.

Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles after the accident, which occurred at about 3 p.m. near 77 Tremont St. One was taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. The the other was flown to a hospital by medical helicopter.

Information about the conditions of the drivers was not available.

The women’s names were not released.
