Sutton woman, 22, dies in Fillmore Co. crash in Omaha Nebraska

A 22-year-old Sutton, Neb., woman apparently died early Sunday in a single-vehicle traffic accident in Fillmore County.The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office said Kourtney Robbins died in the crash on County Road 12 between County Roads A and B. Her body was found about 3 a.m. Robbins suffered fatal injuries, the sheriff’s office said, and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.Robbins was the lone occupant of a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox SUV, authorities said. The Chevy was southbound on County Road 12 when Robbins lost control, veered partly into the east ditch and then overcorrected into the west ditch, the sheriff’s office said. The SUV came to rest in the west ditch on its driver’s side facing north.Robbins was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said, and she was partly ejected from the Equinox.The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Nebraska State Patrol.
