Phoenix, AZ : Five people injured in three-vehicle crash in the West Valley on Thursday evening, Nov 26, 2015

The Phoenix Fire Department reported children were among the injured in a crash involving three vehicles Thursday evening.

The crash occurred before 6 p.m. at Arizona State Route 101 and McDowell Road in the West Valley.

Firefighters said five people were treated for injuries, three of whom, two adults and a 2-year-old, had serious injuries.

The two other victims are also children and received minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
