Des Moines, IA: Officer checked at hospital after crashing during chase of motorcycle, Des Moines police say on Wednesday October 28 2015

A Des Moines officer has been checked out at a hospital after crashing during his chase of a motorcycle.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday in Pleasant Hill after the chase began in Des Moines. Des Moines television station that the motorcyclist was arrested after crashing in a wooded area.
Police say there didn't appear to be any injuries to the officer or the motorcyclist. The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.the crash and the accident left Morgan in critical condition. He spent more than a month in the hospital and a rehabilitation clinic recovering from his injuries, which included a broken leg, nose and ribs.
