Edgewater ,MD : 46-year-old man Seriously injured after Two Vehicle Crash along Route 214 on Friday night ,April 24 2015

A two-vehicle accident in Edgewater sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries, Anne Arundel County fire officials said.
The accident occurred on Pike Ridge Road and Route 214 around 8:45 p.m. Friday, spokesman Lt. Eric Hammack said.
A 46-year-old man was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. There were no other injuries.

Earlier Friday, a four-vehicle accident in Harwood sent three people to Calvert Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. That accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Route 2 and Marys Mount Road.
