FRESNO, CA : 2 hospitalized following crash on HWY168 in east central Fresno on Tuesday, 5th September 2023

A woman has died following a crash in east central Fresno Tuesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says it happened just after 3 am Tuesday on eastbound Highway 168 near the Ashlan Avenue offramp.

Officers say a man driving a Dodge Charger lost control of his car and hit a Nissan Altima.

Both vehicles ended up in the center median with the Nissan coming to rest on its roof.

The woman inside the Altima was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where she died.
