Orlando, FL : Pedestrian injured after being hit by car on South Kirkman Road early Sunday, Oct 11, 2015

Orlando police said a pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash on South Kirkman Road early Sunday.

Officers were called to the 2500 block of South Kirkman Road near Metropolis Way just before 7 a.m.

One patient, described only as an adult pedestrian, was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious, life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police closed Southbound Kirkman Road at Sterling Crest Drive. It reopened at about 10 a.m.
