Oklahoma City, OK : Driver and passenger killed after Vehicle pursued by Oklahoma City police crashes on Saturday, Nov 7, 2015

Oklahoma City police say two people were killed when the vehicle they were in crashed while being pursued by police.

Lt. Allen Burgett told reporters that an officer stopped the vehicle late Saturday because the driver was suspected of being under the influence. The officer was talking to the two in the car when the driver fled.

Police say that after a short pursuit, the vehicle struck the median and overturned several times.

Police say a woman was thrown from the vehicle and the male driver was pinned inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

No names have been released.
