POLK COUNTY, AR : An Arkansas man was killed and a woman injured in a motorcycle crash in Polk County on Sunday, 30th September 2018

An Arkansas man was killed and a woman injured in a motorcycle crash in Polk County Sunday evening.
A State Police preliminary crash report states John W. Jameson, 59, was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson on U.S. Highway 270 West when the crash occurred just before 5 p.m.
According to the report, the motorcycle was in a left-hand curve when it traveled off the right side of the highway and hit a dirt and rock embankment before it came to a rest.
John was killed in the crash and 50-year-old Rhonda Jameson, a passenger on the motorcycle, was injured.
Rhonda was taken to the Mena Regional Health System for her injuries.
The crash marks the 216th fatality worked by State Police on Arkansas highways so far this year.
