New York, NY : Cyclist hurt in crash with car at West Eighth Street and Douglass Avenue on Tuesday, 27th November 2018
A Davis man was injured Monday morning when his bicycle collided with a vehicle at West Eighth Street and Douglass Avenue, Davis police reported Wednesday.
According to Lt. Paul Doroshov, the initial investigation determined that the bicyclist, 72-year-old Douglas Krause, was riding west on West Eighth Street and struck the side of a Subaru Outback that had entered the intersection and the bicyclist collided with the side of the vehicle.Krause was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries following the 8:40 a.m. crash, Doroshov said. He identified the driver as Davis resident Karen Andrews, 68. The collision remains under investigation.
