TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY : 6-year-old girl killed in pedestrian accident on Monday, 27h May 2024

A six-year-old has died after she was hit by a vehicle Monday evening in the Town of Tonawanda.

The accident happened on Canterbury Lane just before 8 p.m.

Town of Tonawanda Police say the child was hit by a Ford Transit Connect Van while trying to cross Canterbury Lane.

The child was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital where she died of her injuries.
