FRANKFORT, ME : 2 seriously hurt in Frankfort crash along Route 1A on Tuesday, 12th February 2019

Two people appeared to be seriously injured Monday after their two vehicles collided along Route 1A in Waldo County, the sheriff's office said.

Reports of the two-vehicle crash came in at about 1 p.m. Deputies responded along with Frankfort and West Frankfort's fire departments.

Deputies' investigation showed a car driven by Amy Adriance, 40, of Winterport, was traveling north on Route 1A when she decided to pass a tractor trailer, the sheriff's office said. Adriance's vehicle then drifted off the right side of the ride, was overcorrected and crossed the center line.
