Harrison County ,MS :28-year-old Trisha Wallace killed after car accident on Saturday night , September 12th 2015

One person was killed in a late night car accident Saturday night.

According to Corporal Benjamin Seibert of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a Dodge Stratus headed northbound on Highway 49, north of West Wortham, rear-ended a Ford F-150 at 11:37 p.m. Upon impact, the Stratus went into the median and overturned, ejecting the driver.

The driver of the Stratus, 28-year-old Trisha Wallace of Saucier, MS, was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the F-150 was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and was not injured.
