Delta County, MI : Three people injured in two vehicle crash on Co 513 T Road on Sunday, June 21, 2015

A two vehicle crash on Sunday near the Little Bay de Noc Campground has left two hospitalized.

Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the crash on Co 513 T Road at 645 p.m. Sunday. A vehicle driven by 85 year old Orville Pederson of Rapid River, crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by 69-year-old David Hanes of Rapid River.

Hanes and a passenger were transported by Rampart EMS to OSF St. Francis Hospital where Hanes was later released. His passenger is still hospitalized.

Pederson was transported by Rampart and later Valley Med Flight to U.P. Health Systems Marquette where he remains hospitalized.

The accident remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police, Rampart EMS, Masonville Fire/EMS, Valley Med Flight, and TKL Towing.
