Motorcyclist in ICU after Monday crash near Fort walton beach, Florida

A 33-year-old man from Crestview was in surgical ICU at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola on Tuesday after his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle Monday morning on Lewis Turner Boulevard.Joshua Rose was riding his motorcycle west about 8:30 a.m. when the eastbound SUV tried to turn left into the Okaloosa County Courthouse Annex Extension and crossed his path, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The two collided and Rose was thrown from his bike.

The man driving the SUV, 40-year-old Rendi Katalinic of Destin, was not hurt.He was charged with violation of right of way when making a left turn, the FHP reported.
