A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Orlando Friday night, according to police.

The vehicle was travelling eastbound on Michigan Street, near Osceola Avenue, when it hit the man around 9:30 p.m., police said.

The man, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

Several blocks between Michigan Street and Delaney Avenue were shut down while investigators worked to clear the scene.

No other information has been released.
