Montgomery, IL : Minor injuries reported in crash at Route 30, Douglas Road on Wednesday, 26th February, 2020

Two people were injured in a crash that occurred at 7:56 p.m., Feb. 26, on Route 30 at Douglas Road in Montgomery, according to village police.

Police said the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in the crash, Everly Tena, 19, of La Fox Road, La Fox, and a passenger in her Saturn Vue, Jesus Glavan, also of La Fox Road, La Fox, no age given, were both transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, Maria Del Scorro Campos, 56, of Fulton Street, Aurora, declined medical treatment at the scene, according to police.

Police said the crash occurred when Tena's vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Route 30 turned in front of Del Scorro Campos' Chrysler Town & Country which was proceeding southbound on Douglas Road.

Tena was cited for failure to reduce speed, police said.
