A 25-year-old Rosebud County man was killed in a rollover crash south of Hardin Wednesday afternoon, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The man's name is being withheld until his family is notified, Bighorn County Coroner Terry Bullis said Thursday. The two passengers in the car were injured in the crash, which occurred Wednesday after 1 p.m.
The man was driving northbound on Corporation Road, according to the MHP report, when his Chevy Equinox drifted left before swerving back to the right side of the road. He then drifted left again across all lanes and went off the southbound shoulder of the road, the report states.
The car began rolling sideways, during which time the driver and a 26-year-old female passenger were ejected, according to MHP.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol, drugs and speed are all suspected to be factors in the crash, according to MHP.
