Odessa,TX : OPD identifies woman injured in 42nd Street wreck on October, Tuesday 31st 2017

The Odessa Police Department identified the woman injured in a wreck Tuesday on 42nd Street as 53-year-old Martha Pena of Odessa.
Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the incident in the 4100 block of East 42nd St. around 2 p.m. Tuesday, an OPD press release stated.
Pena suffered life-threatening injuries from the accident and was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, the release detailed.
Chelsea Hickey, 24, of Odessa was driving eastbound on 42nd Street in a white 2011 Cadillac SRX when she collided with a black 1994 Honda Accord, also driving eastbound, being driven by Pena, the release said.
The release states Hickey failed to control her speed, colliding with the Honda from behind. There were no other injuries.
