Vancouver, WA : Two people injured in hit-run crash on the northbound Interstate 205 at Burton Rd on Sunday morning, December 7, 2014
Washington State troopers are looking for a driver after a hit-and-run crash happened early this morning on the northbound Interstate 205 at Burton Rd.
Two people were taken to PeaceHealth with serious injuries. One person has life-threatening injuries.
A white pick-up truck traveling northbound on I205 hit a concrete barrier and stopped in the travel lane. After the crash a person stopped to help the driver, but then the good samaritan was hit in their car, causing life-threatening injuries. Their injuries and condition are not known at this time.
WSP are trying to find a vehicle matching the following description: A white Ford F150 pick-up truck with a partial Washington license plate B7. The truck was last seen eastbound traveling on State Route 14 before fleeing the scene, heading northbound on I205.
The road was closed for several hours at northbound I205 from SR 14 to SR 500 while troopers were investigating the accident and gathering evidence. All lanes in the area are now open again.
