Brandon Couple Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Brandon couple is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in a construction zone near Brookings on Saturday.According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Richard Leonard Feltmann, 61, was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on I-29 with Janis Feltmann, who is also 61. The patrol says Feltmann was in a construction zone with head-to-head traffic, when the motorcycle veered into the lane of northbound traffic and struck a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander driven by Lynne Louise Duin, 60, of Estelline.The patrol says the Feltmanns, who were not wearing helmets, died at the scene. Duin, who was wearing a seatbelt, received serious injuries and was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.
