SHREVEPORT, LA : Driver killed in 18-wheeler incident on Friday, 16th August 2024

A driver killed in an 18-wheeler incident just after noon Wednesday has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

Isaac Zamudio Valadez, 41, of McAllen Texas, was assisting a fellow driver to disconnect a trailer from the cab when the driver backed the rig over Valadez. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The incident occurred at 12:21 p.m. in the 300 block of West 61st Street.

An autopsy was ordered
